Treatment

Colonoscopy involves the use of a long, flexible tube with a camera to examine the inside of the colon. It can detect polyps, tumors, inflammation, and other abnormalities. Polyps can be removed during the procedure, and tissue samples can be taken for biopsy. Regular screenings are recommended for early detection of colorectal cancer.
